Protected by the special IGP geographical indicator badge, Coppa di Parma, or Parma ham, is a soft, sweet and delicate cut of meat. Made using the meat of the neck of the pig, then dried with salt, spices and pepper, the meat is covered with a natural casing and, after careful drying, it ages for around sixty days, this is what gives the Coppa di Parma it's characteristic scent, aroma and fragrance as well as a delicate and balanced taste.
Veroni started life as a sausage factory by 5 brothers of the Veroni family; Fiorentino, Francesco, Paolo, Adolfo and Ugo in 1925 in Correggio, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. They have been producing meat products ever since.
