Navarra is famous for producing some of Spain's finest vegetables, most notably the Pimientos del Piquillo. These small red peppers have a distinctive shape and have their origins in the mild chillies brought back from the Americas by the "Conquistadores". Hand roasted and then preserved in tins, the piquillo pepper is a brilliant addition to any larder.
The tin comes with two handy recipes for you try, a pepper and tuna salad as well as a hot pepper tapa with garlic.
