Rabelais spices were created in Marseille, Southern France, in 1880. Reynaud de Mazan, a curious and imaginative mind, had the idea of combining in a mixture spices brought back from Africa and Asia and aromatics from the hills of the Mediterranean.
A rich savoury spice blend with a mix of aromats and spices which is just as at home for a hearty Marseilles Octopus stew as it is with roasted Toulouse sausages.
