Founded in L'Ametlla del Vallés, just outside Barcelona, in 1941 by Mr. Josep Feliubadaló. Feliubadalo had its origins in a store in the Boquería Market in Barcelona, where the founder did his apprenticeship as a merchant and where he had his first experiences related to truffle preservation. Originally dedicated to the production of canned mushrooms, truffles, peas and other vegetables, Feliubadalo extended their range in 1948, to preserves including the Salsa Romesco which obtained the Gold Medal granted in the "Monde Selection de la Qualité" in 1967.
