Le Phare du Cap Bon Harissa is the original and authentic Tunisian Harissa. In 1946, the first Harissa tube was born under the brand name “Le Phare du Cap Bon” which translates to “Lighthouse of Cap Bon”.
Cap Bon is a peninsula in far north-eastern Tunisia which is surrounded by the Gulf of Tunis with strong historical ties to nearby Sicily.
Paired with sardine fillets these are a twist on the usual olive oil or tomato pairings but well worth adding into your rotation for something a little different.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
