Produced from Quince that originates from the 'Quince Cradle', a term used to describe the quince that has been grown in the southern countryside of Cordoba, Puente Genil, Southern Spain, thanks to the optimal climatic conditions of this area that make the cultivation of the fruit.
Membrillo is made from the pulp of the fruit, hence the more solid texture, and is traditionally sliced and served with cheese such as Manchego.
