We're very happy to now be stocking Sea Sisters, a craft fish cannery based in Bridport, West Dorset, started in 2021 by chef Angus, who's cooked at some of our favourite London restaurants (Trullo, Rochelle Canteen) and his wife Charlotte.
This cuttlefish is pot caught in season during April and May when they're fully grown. It's then preserved in a rich, beautifully balanced sauce using its own ink. Eat straight from the can or as Sea Sisters suggest; fold through steamed rice with a nice dollop of aioli and lemon.
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
