A traditional Milanese panettone, super soft, sweet bread, made with candied Sicilian orange peel, sultanas and raisins and diamond cut candied cedar. Made with free-range eggs on the outskirts of Milan, Northern Italy.
With its origins beginning in Milan in 1896, Tre Marie were one of the founding members of a round table of pastry shops who perfected the Milanese Panettone recipe in the early 1900s. In the 60s this recipe was perfected on a larger scale to allow for the perfect panettone to travels across the country and eventually the globe.
The Tre Marie logo embodies their values. The three women surrounded by the heat of an oven, they show three symbolic objects: an egg, indicating the choice of the best ingredients, the pyx, a metaphor for care in the production process; and a panettone, the result of their commitment.
Storage: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep in an air tight container and consume within 2-3 days.
